for those of you who don’t go on the messageboard, earl future (pete’s brother) posted his own version of satie’s gymnopedie no 1:

"A while back there were a bunch of posts linking different versions of Satie’s Gymnopédie No. 1 and I happened to be learning it for a piano class. So now here’s my chopped and screwed + distorted futuristic version. I don’t have a sustain pedal on my keyboard so it’s impossible to play it right, but since I recorded this one I’ve learned to play it a lot better and I will take requests for different styles to play/record it. Then I will post them here for your enjoyment. "
