okay what is this about? when are you coming back we need you here
id love to just spend all morning running the streets of lower manhattan in a semi-frenzied paced in hopes of rousing up more anxiety. if only i had the day off!
one of the largest banks in the world just sold for
2 bucks a share, down from 150 dollars a share a year ago and 56 on friday! The markets are going to collapse this week or next, like collapse collapse, and the dollar is about to hit the .60′s… Major devastation is coming to the US. If your parents have a lot invested in long-term programs (401k, etc.) tell them to go extremely bearish this week, to call their financial planners, to really look closely at where they’ve put their money and get informed, because retirements are about to get wiped out when more data becomes available and financial institutions, large and small, are determined to be insolvent. Pink slips come, as they say, when the banks that your employer uses to issue pay-checks no longer exist.
I’ll be here (San Miguel de Allende) for a couple more weeks (best city ever), though I’m really tempted to fly home early to witness all of this.
oh if only the supercentral community was the least bit interested in such issues!
if our economy crumbles i sure as hell don’t want to read about it on here and be bummed out…nothing tremendous is gonna happen anyways
Dude, my birthday’s this week!~
If everybody goes bearish, doesn’t that make it worse? like in It’s a Wonderful Life? Besides, I’ve warned my parents on your behalf once too often. They are in Puebla this week, at the Hotel Colonial. If anything does happen, please stop by and treat them to some comfort food. I’ll be here in austin, hoarding bikes because, uh, it’s the smart thing to do right now.
Hording bikes is the only thing to do!
(Happy birthday, Pete)
when is the day pete. let’s have fun!
today, actually, but I’ve got a paper due tomorrow. let’s have fun on friday or so
